The Arts Ambassadors-in-School Scheme《To Dear Growth》
Event Date: 1/4 (Thur), 3/4(Sat)or 4/4(Sun)
In recent years, the concept of 'half-farming and half-X' has emerged in Japan and Taiwan, whereby people in the city tend to return to nature and rethink the possibilities of urban and rural development and sustainable living while working as farmers.
The project aims to use art as method to broaden students' imagination about life. Other than learning about local farming, the project will also provide an opportunity for students to understand Hong Kong's rural environment and create artworks using local produce, which encouraged students to reflect on the relationship between development and conservation and how to strike a balance.
