Along The Shore: Pier Stories - Editors Online Sharing
Ferry was the main means of transportation traveling between the city and the outlying islands in the past. Not only has it shouldered the responsibility of carrying passengers across the sea, but it has also brought countless precious collective memories and experiences to Hong Kong people. The editorial team visited the Eastern piers to conduct interviews and observations, converted the stories of the piers into words, and compiled into this book - a book on the Eastern piers in Hong Kong.
The three editors of "Along the Shore- Eastern Pier": Virginia, Belle, and Emily will conduct an online sharing on their thoughts and experiences of publishing "Along the Shore". They will also talk about the people and events they encountered during the interviews, and explore how the Eastern piers bore witness to the historical changes of Hong Kong.
Date: 17/7/2021 (SAT)
Time: 2PM-4PM
Platform: Zoom
Language: Cantonese
